ELEPHANT SAFARI IN CORBETT NATIONAL PARK IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED

In 2018, commercial activities involving elephants were banned, including Elephant Safari in Jim Corbett National Park, by Court, since commercial use of elephants violates the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960. Visitors can enjoy and explore the Jim Corbett National Park through other, more eco-friendly options such as Jeep Safari, Canter Safari, Nature Walk, and Bird Watching, which encourage tourism in a more responsible and sustainable way.
